Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh said that load shedding was going on in the whole country including Sindh.
According to details, Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh in his statement on power transmission system and load shedding said that federal ministers were misrepresenting the issue of load shedding.
He also said that at the NEPRA meeting, the heads of the transmission system companies had admitted 15 hours of load shedding, while the head of NTDC admitted that there was only 23,000 MW of electricity in the system.
Imtiaz Sheikh further said that the federal government is claiming to have a generation capacity of 37,000 MW.
The Sindh Energy Minister said that areas like Malir, Landhi, Lyari, Gulshan, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, North Karachi and other suburbs like Clifton Defense are without power.
He further said that the federal government was obstructing Sindh’s efforts on energy issues.
Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Sheikh said that it has been made clear to the federation that only Sindh has the solution to the energy problems in the country.
