Colombia has registered a record of daily deaths due to coronavirus this Thursday, lamenting 573, with which the total death due to the pandemic has exceeded 94,000, according to the latest balance of the Ministry of Health.
Specifically, there are 94,046 deaths since the pandemic broke out, which has also left 29,302 new infections in the last day, with which there are 3,665,137 accumulated positives.
With 150,575 active cases, the country is in the third peak of the pandemic, which is also reflected in hospitals with a high occupancy of general beds and intensive care units.
Likewise, it also continues with its National Vaccination Plan, which for the moment has allowed the application of 12,206,104 doses, of which 3,594,039 are second doses, that is, people who have acquired the complete scheme.
The country has received this Thursday a new batch of 539,370 units of Pfizer’s immunizer, as reported by the Health Ministry, which has also advanced that next Sunday the president of Colombia, Iván Duque, will receive his first dose of the vaccine against COVID-19.
